Delivery

To meet your delivery requirements in the best way possible, we use a range of professional carriers who deliver virtually anywhere within New Zealand. Once your order is placed we will contact you to arrange delivery and confirm the cost. Delivery timing will depend on what you’ve ordered and where you want it delivered. The carrier will contact you to arrange a delivery time with you. Please ensure there is someone home at the arranged time of delivery to receive your order.

Within Auckland our delivery service includes removal of packaging, expert assembly and placement of the furniture in your home.

When items are to be shipped out of Auckland product will be left in factory packing to ensure the product arrives safely. Please note that this sometimes results in needing to assemble an item at home. Delivery outside of Auckland includes taking the furniture inside, upstairs or in lifts providing access is reasonable and placement of product in room, but does not include assembly or removal of packaging. Marble is an exception due to its weight and handling requirements – all marble tables will be assembled and placed in position ready to use. As such, marble deliveries will need to be quoted.

DELIVERY COST

To calculate your delivery costs, please select your desired items and enter your postcode on the cart page. Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of the order and the city nearest to the delivery destination. Delivery costs will be finalised upon arrangement, as variables such as difficult access and/or address outside main cities, may affect the final charge.

Some post codes fall outside standard delivery boundaries and will need to be quoted accordingly. Please contact the showroom on 09 525 5823 or sales@bradfordsfurniture.co.nz to discuss.

DELIVERY LEAD TIMES

Your location and order size will affect how quickly we can get your order to you. NZ’s geography makes it impossible to be exact when estimating delivery timing; for in stock items we aim for the following lead times after full payment has been received:

  • Metropolitan Auckland: 1 – 4 working days
  • North Island: 2 – 8 working days
  • South Island: 2 – 10 working days
  • Remote areas may extend this period.

Deliveries take place Monday – Friday during normal business hours, excluding public holidays. Some areas can be delivered to on Saturday but will incur a surcharge.

Delivery times of customised orders and out of stock items will vary. We will give you an estimated delivery date when placing your order and will be in contact once it arrives to arrange delivery.

There are, on very rare occasions, unexpected delays to the estimated arrival time shown on the invoice and in such cases we will notify you.

PICKING UP AN ORDER

Any purchase can be collected from our Onehunga warehouse at no extra charge. Simply select ‘Pick-up’ in the delivery options of the cart page. Please call ahead to arrange pick up between 10:00 – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday. The warehouse is closed in the weekend.

Orders consisting of non-bulky goods can be transferred to our showroom for pickup, also at no charge. Please note that we do not carry stock at the showroom for you to take home. If you would like to have your order transferred to our showroom for pickup, this will need to be pre-arranged and is available for non-bulky items only. We are unable to offer this option during sale periods.

If you are collecting please bring protective blankets and appropriate transport. All pickups are carried at your risk.

DAMAGE IN TRANSIT

While we use professional furniture carriers, on rare occasions product can be damaged in transit. If your order arrives damaged please note on the carriers delivery docket and contact us the day you receive your order so that we may assist you. Please ensure you include your order number in any communications to us to facilitate resolving your query.
